Yearly dues is $10.00 per individual (September - August).
What you get for your $10.00
- Opportunities to take classes in various computer related subjects. The
availability of classes depends on volunteers to run classes. If you want to
share your knowledge, speak to a BCTC board member.
- Our SIG (Special Interest Group) program is an opportunity for people who
have an interest in a particular topic to get together to exchange information
and explore the topic more fully. Previous SIGs have been "How to Use
Photoshop," Nature Photography," etc. SIGs will be involved with uses of the
computer and computer software to perform various tasks related to the topic.
This could be the sharing of websites with information on the topic,
discussions, demonstrations, or even classes in using specific software.
Members of the SIG may be at any level of computer expertise from beginner
to expert,and itis anticipated that everyone will learn something. The only
requirement for joining a SIG is your interest in the subject. The SIGs are very
informal and loosely structured. Each SIG has a volunteer coordinator who has
some experience with the subject matter and related computer resources. All
SIGS will be scheduled prior to our general meetings.
- Our association with local computer clubs, the Florida Association of
Computer User Groups (FACUG), and Associaton of Personal Computer User
Groups (APCUG) enhances the availability of speakers, classes, and SIGS.
- Computer help. Have a problem? One of us MIGHT be able to resolve it. If
we can't, we will recommend someone who can.

Barber (if he's not around, any manager should do), show him
your membership card (we don't have any left) or just tell him
you're a member of BCTC.
